Background

You can have a look at my resume

I entered the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan in September 2000.

During my second year, I did a 4 months internship at the Adelaide University, in the TEC group where I compared different numerical models of flame structure in "Flameless Oxydation" and MILD Conbustion.

For my last year at the ENS, I achieved a MASTER of Fluid Dynamics and Energetics, with specialization in Aerodynamics ands Aeroacoustics.

Research

Hired as research enginerr at the Applied Aerodynamics Dpt since the 1st of April 2008, I perform numerical simulations of CROR engines (Counter Rotating Open Rotor) in order to enhance their aerodynamic performances and reduce the amount of noise emitted.

Ph.D. Thesis

The main issue of my PhD is the modelization and implementation of new boundary conditions for CAA. At present, i'm working on localized reaction sound-absorbing walls.

These developments have for direct applications the treatment of turbofan engine inlet walls, and in a larger scale of any wall in the neighborhood of acoustic sources, as some parts of high-lift devices are.
